How we handle your personal information
WorkPlus Business Solutions Inc. ("WorkPlus", "we") respects your privacy and complies with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and issuances of the National Privacy Commission. This notice explains what personal information we collect through this website and by email, why we collect it, and how we protect it.
Information we collect
- Client inquiries: your name, company, work email, mobile number (if given), and the details of your manpower or service request.
- Job applications: the information you submit through our website application form or email to careers@workplus.com.ph, including your CV, such as your contact details, work history, education and skills.
We do not ask for sensitive personal information through this website. Please do not include government ID numbers or health information in your inquiry or initial application.
Why we use it
- To respond to your inquiry, prepare a proposal, and manage our business relationship with you.
- To evaluate your application and contact you about job openings that match your profile.
- To comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
Who can access it
Only authorized WorkPlus personnel who need the information for the purposes above. We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate (such as our email and website hosting providers) under appropriate safeguards, with a client company when you apply for a position with that client and agree to be endorsed, or when required by law.
How long we keep it
Client inquiries that do not lead to an engagement are kept for up to two (2) years from our last communication. Records of active clients are kept for the duration of the service agreement and afterward for as long as required by applicable laws and regulations.
Job applications from applicants who are not hired are kept for up to two (2) years from submission so we can consider you for future openings, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. If you are hired, your records become part of your employment file and are kept for as long as required by labor, tax and other applicable laws.
When the retention period ends, records are securely deleted or disposed of.
How we protect it
We use organizational, physical and technical measures to protect personal information, including restricted access, secure storage, and confidentiality agreements with our personnel.
Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act, you have the right to be informed, to access, to object, to correct, to erasure or blocking, to data portability, and to claim damages, and to file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.
